Where we call home is a little 4 ½ acre farmstead on the Wild Rice River 5 miles northwest of Wahpeton, ND. We moved to the country when our kids were 2 and 4 years old and they loved the country life. We have welcomed many critters into our lives from kittens, to rabbits, bottle lambs, show sheep, horses, chickens, and steers. Now that our kids are grown and live away from home, we have moved away from animal interests and only have Chester, our black lab, for company. Both of our children are married and live quite a distance from home. My husband is the IT fellow at a local manufacturing plant. I have nearly always been a stay-at-home mom but lost that title when the kids moved away! I volunteer at the local Food Pantry and find satisfaction in helping our community out in that way. We purchased a LaserPro engraving machine and are venturing into different avenues of interest. I have developed an interest in laser engraving wedding and bridal shower favors, as well as personalized spatula bouquets. Our horizons expand each time we get a new idea!
